Bornfit RUN

As the lead apparel designer for Bornfit, our goal was to create activewear pieces that made women feel comfortable and confident. The assortment included t's, seamless knit tanks, jackets, skorts, shorts, and pants. Design highlights included wide waistbands, lots of pockets, plush technical fabrics, tonal embellishments, and asymmetric styling.

Bornfit MATERNITY

Complimentary to Bornfit's run collection, a maternity collection was also developed. Featuring similar styles, the patterns and grading for the maternity collection were revised to account for changes in women's body shape and size during pregnancy.

REDLINE Technical T's

As a means to entice marathon participants, Redline Running Company wanted to develop a technical t-shirt that could be given to race participants as a high-tech alternative to traditional cotton t-shirts typically distributed at race events. In this collection, four styles in three colorways were created for Redline. Features include lightweight poly/spandex micro jersey with moisture-wicking, flatlock seams, reflective logos, pockets built into the side seams, and button holes at the neck to guide headphone cords. These shirts have been re-ordered in various colors and used as the race shirt for all Redline productions since 2012.

Nursing Sports Bra

This prototype was developed and tested in collaboration with nursing mothers. The resulting prototype was a synthesis of the nursing mothers' needs. Design highlights include an inner surplice  mesh bralette, fold down front with one-hand clasps, velcro adjustable bra straps, and wire-free underwire for shaping.
